Determ’s history

1-take-off

Take-off

Determ as a product was first created in 2009 in digital agency iStudio (now Degordian). We launched it as Mediatoolkit, a media monitoring and social listening tool, from a small house-turned-office in Zagreb in 2014.

2-startup

Startup

Determ separates from Degordian and spins off into an independent company, and our tool and team grow rapidly. As a product, Determ gets regional and worldwide recognition via newspaper articles and conferences such as FIBEP Congress (Vienna). At the same time, the team almost doubles in size.

3-startup-to-company

Company

Our growing team moves into a bigger office in Zagreb and continues working on the product. We record a big win: our product is named the G2Crowd High Performer.

4-tenacity

Tenacity

Our product keeps advancing and achieves more recognition from G2Crowd as Europe Leader for Winter 2020. Our team expands too, and we stick together through some trying times while setting up for the next big win.

5-evolving

Evolving

After 13 years and many changes under the same name, Mediatoolkit becomes Determ. This is the next step on our journey; an honest representation of our identity, and a spotlight on our commitment to our values.
